Roll For Combat which is an actual play podcast for Starfinder, was released recently and listeners can now subscribe to iTunes to enjoy this brand new release. Roll For combat is about a group comprising five friends and RPG fanatics, who gathered together to enjoy the brand new Starfinder, Paizo RPG as well as the Dead Suns Adventure Path campaign.

001In the first episode, listeners are introduced to the members of the gang which includes: John Staats, who has been World of Warcraft’s top developer for more than 10 years; Stephen Glicker, who has more than 14 years’ experience in podcasting and more than 20 years’ experience in the game industry; Jason McDonald who has been a top editor at Quora for 5 years; Bob Markee, known as the “geek savant” with more than 45 years’ worth of geek credibility under his belt; and Chris Beemer, who has more than 40 years’ experience in RPG.

The first show also features Thurston Hillman, who is the Starfinder Society of Organized Play’s Developer, as a tour guide who’ll introduce their listeners to Starfinder and a world of organized play.

 

According to Stephen Glicker who is the show’s host as well as GM, “We have over 170 years of combined RPGexperience,” he also stated that “Our group have been playing together for over a decade and we wanted to bring our experience and friendships to a larger audience. Plus, we fight a lot, and who doesn’t love to hear five geeks having an argument on RPG rules?”

The groups’ Dead Suns Adventure Path campaign from Paizo, will be depicted on the weekly show. In addition to all that, there will be a “Big Podcast Launch Giveaway” to celebrate the launch of the show and the giveaway will involve more than $1000 worth of prizes as well as weekly giveaways to last for the next 10 weeks. Their listeners can join the giveaway in other to win gift cards from Amazon, Roll For Combat t-shirts, special RPG contents and lots more, by tuning into the show.
